Coming up on Home and Away, Perri’s trial is rocked by the arrival of his supposedly dead mum, Kaia Hayes.

1. Abigail wants to call a truce

Abigail is finally in a better place thanks to the counselling sessions and her recent heart-to-heart with Levi. She also feels ready to bury the hatchet with Eden, but admits to Tim that she doesn’t know how to approach her sister.

He suggests writing her feelings down in a letter so they can start working through things together.

2. Eden and Cash say goodbye

Eden is stunned to learn that Cash is planning on leaving the Bay tomorrow and questions whether it’s what he really wants.

Cash stands by his decision, and Eden is forced to say goodbye to the great love of her life. But as Cash returns home to pack, he finds Eden’s engagement ring and is clearly having second thoughts.

3. Eden makes a move on Tim

Meanwhile, Tim encounters Eden at Salt and offers to walk her home.

Back at hers, they crack open a beer as Eden admits she’s had a tough day but doesn’t want to discuss it.

Acting on impulse, Eden pulls Tim in for a kiss, not noticing a silent incoming call from Cash on her mobile.

4. Cash reaches a decision

Remi walks in on Eden and Tim in a passionate clinch and is concerned to learn that he’s Abigail’s counsellor.

Feeling judged, Eden takes off and runs into Cash, who asks how she’d feel about him staying put in the Bay. But her harsh response isn’t the one he was hoping for.

Later, Cash tells Remi he’s decided to stay after all. Remi tries to let Eden know, but she’s busy getting jiggy with Tim.

5. Something is wrong with Alf

Marilyn is happy to have Alf home, but can’t help but notice her friend isn’t his usual self. She updates Alf on the drama surrounding Bree’s tribunal and he decides to find out for himself what actually happened.

Alf and Bree admit to one another they’ve both been struggling with dark thoughts, but part on good terms.

6. Bree agrees to seek professional help

Bree is on the warpath after finding out Remi has been discussing her issues with Xander.

When Levi gets wind of the situation, he goes to see Bree and finds her obsessively cleaning the sink. The pair get talking and Levi encourages Bree to seek help.

Realising she can’t carry on like this, Bree heads to Salt and tells Remi, Xander and Dana she’s going to get a mental health assessment.

7. Mali suffers a panic attack

Mali’s anxiety gets the better of him as he suffers a panic attack moments before the Mantaray Boards photoshoot.

Theo calms his friend’s nerves and encourages him to follow Kirby’s lead in front of the camera. It works a treat, and the photographer is able to capture the perfect shots.

Tane’s fears for Perri mount when Harper reveals the lad’s lawyer hasn’t found any witnesses to Carl’s abuse.

Later, Tane is by Perri’s side as he scatters his dad’s ashes in the shallows.

Afterwards, Perri tells Tane he’s planning to do a runner, but he convinces him to stay and fight.

9. Perri’s trial gets off to a bad start

As Perri’s trial gets under way, Rose is first to take the witness stand. She gives an honest account of that fateful day, and confirms she was aware of Carl’s abuse against his son.

Next, it’s Tane’s turn, but he ends up losing his cool, putting Perri in further jeopardy.

As they break for lunch, Perri’s lawyer Jane dashes off after receiving a mystery text from someone. Who is it?

10. Perri’s mum returns from the dead

There are gasps around the courtroom as Jane calls her final witness to the stand – Kaia Hayes – Perri’s mum, who he thought was dead.

Kaia bravely tells the room how Carl forced her to leave and threatened to kill Perri if she didn’t go.

But instead of running into her arms, Perri angrily orders his mum to get the hell away from him.

11. The verdict is in for Perri

After a pep talk from Tane, Perri decides he’s ready to hear what Kaia has to say. But as he approaches, they’re called back into court.

The jury have reached their verdict and Perri is found not guilty on the charge of murder.

Tane and Harper are overcome with relief, and hope Perri can start to rebuild his life.

12. Eden confesses her secret

Abigail invites Levi and Eden over for a family lunch, just like their mother used to.

It gives Abigail the chance to clear the air with Eden and she gives her the letter she wrote to her.

On the way home, Eden breaks down as she reads Abigail’s words and tearfully confesses to Levi that she slept with Tim. Will he keep her secret?

13. Roo is coming home

As fears for Alf’s wellbeing continue to mount, Leah tells John she’s going to ring Martha.

During their chat, Martha also confirms there’s something not right with the Bay stalwart.

Marilyn decides it’s time to call in the big guns, and informs Alf’s loved ones that she’s contacted Roo – who’s coming home to her dad’s rescue.
