Home and Away spoilers follow for Australian pace episodes, which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.
Home and Away‘s Leah Patterson will be arrested in an unexpected new storyline.
Leah is hauled in for questioning by the police as she tries to stand up for what’s right in an important protest.
Recent episodes on air in Australia have seen Kirby Aramoana become a victim of racism after an advertising agency altered pictures of her.
Kirby had taken part in a photoshoot to promote Mali Hudson’s surfboard business, Mantaray Boards.

When the pictures came back, Kirby discovered that the agency had lightened her skin and altered her figure. After being confronted, the company’s offensive behaviour continued as they claimed that the changes were to make Kirby’s appearance more appealing to audiences.
In this week’s episodes in Australia, Kirby, Leah, Roo Stewart, Marilyn Chambers and Rose Delaney all attend a meeting to discuss how to fight back against the agency.
Kirby decides to hold a small protest outside their offices, but the gathering attracts more attendees than planned after word spreads on social media.
Rose is forced to put her personal feelings to one side when she’s called to shut down the large protest in her capacity as a police officer.

As everyone refuses to comply with orders to leave, Leah makes a stand by spray-painting one of the agency’s vans. She’s arrested for vandalism, while the rest of the group are hauled off to face claims that they incited a riot.
Ada Nicodemou, who plays Leah, told TV Week magazine: “I really think that this protest has ignited something in Leah that she didn’t know was there for years.
“She has felt silenced both as a woman and also as a Greek Cypriot woman who has never felt that she fitted in, and I think she’s sticking up for all women who feel like that or all minority groups.”
Home and Away fans in the UK will see these scenes on Channel 5 in March.
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5, with repeat screenings at 6pm on 5STAR and first-look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.
In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 and streams on 7Plus.
