A short sequence was filmed outside the historic Kymin House, featuring a blue car parked near the entrance.

Multiple vans and production vehicles lined the park’s driveway, and filming activity continued throughout the day.

The park is used for a range of community events and activities and has increasingly attracted interest from television and film productions.

This is the latest in a series of high-profile shoots in Penarth.

​In November 2024, crews were spotted filming outside Mint and Mustard restaurant for H is for Hawk, a BBC adaptation of Helen Macdonald’s memoir starring Claire Foy and Brendan Gleeson.

The BBC has not confirmed when the episode of Casualty filmed at Kymin Park will be broadcast.
