He slips, putting himself in grave danger, and then faces another huge problem that forces him to make a quick and incredibly risky decision. Fans will be on the edge of their seats!

• Indie Crashes an Ambulance: Indie, having recently passed her “blue lights” driving test, is in the driver’s seat of an old ambulance with Jan. However, on the way back to the ED, the accelerator jams, and Indie crashes the ambulance directly into the main entrance of the hospital! This causes immediate chaos and leads to a critical mass casualty situation within the ED.

• Rida Makes a HUGE Career Decision: Rida has been struggling with a complaint against Russell, who has made a counter-allegation. She’s given an ultimatum: sign an NDA, get a year’s salary, and leave, while Russell takes early retirement. After much internal conflict and advice from Flynn, Rida is inspired by a patient to sign the NDA and hand in her notice, deciding to quit Holby. This is a major turning point for her character.

• Ngozi’s Relapse and Relationship Fallout: The new boxset jumps forward three months, revealing that Ngozi’s relapse into alcoholism after Iain and Faith’s wedding has had severe consequences. Nicole ended their relationship and asked Ngozi to move out. The tension between them is palpable at work, leading to mistakes in the ED.
