The paramedic tries to run away from his feelings with an early morning jog, but keeps being haunted by memories of his run in with a drunken bridesmaid.

Teddy has been visibly shaken ever since being trapped in the back of an ambulance with Hayley, but decided against telling any of his co-workers what happened.

Jan tries to press him after sensing something is wrong at work but he won’t open up.

Much to his shock, the bridesmaid turns up at the emergency ward.

Teddy decides to talk to her about the incident and make it clear that he did not consent to the sexual encounter.

However, Hayley is unbothered, brushing off the accusation that she assaulted him.

But when staff nurse Jodie Whyte overhears some of the conversation, will she decide to step in and seek help for her colleague?

After a patient took her life in the hospital bathroom during the previous episode, an investigation was done into the level of care she received while at the hospital.

Patrick Spiller is left to inform the team that the report says Fern Cross did not receive an acceptable level of care from the emergency department before her death.

Stevie and Jodie are left in shock, and try to argue their case, but Patrick is firm in the belief that they have to do better.

Nicole gets overwhelmed

Junior doctor Nicole just got introduced to the show as a new character last week, and has already gotten off on the wrong foot.

Stevie entrusts her with a patient who has fallen through a greenhouse, but when Lucy’s CT scan comes back with a negative result, she tries to swerve the responsibility of passing on the news.

Nicole gets a harsh warning from Stevie, who tells her that her pregnancy is holding her back at a crucial time in her career.

The medical consultant also says that newbie Tariq is likely to progress in his role much faster than Nicole will.

This lights a fire under Nicole to prove Stevie wrong.

Rash steps up

Rashid starts to practise the techniques he learned from therapy on the ward.

The clinical fellow has been struggling ever since a personal breakdown, and revealed to his therapist that working with his cousin in Holby Hospital has made the situation even harder.

He admitted that seeing how positive Tariq is all the time reminds him of what he used to be like before suffering from burnout.

When Patrick piles extra admin work on, Rash worries he will have a meltdown.

Much to his credit, he manages to take a beat to do some breathing exercises, and comes back to his work with his emotions under control.

Will things start to turn around for him?
