Actress Maddison Brown (known for Dynasty and Strangerland) has joined the cast to play Jo.

She is the daughter of the new police sergeant, David Langham (Jeremy Lindsay Taylor), and the sister of Lacey Miller (Sophea Pennington). Sergeant Langham arrived in May, and Lacey was introduced a couple of months prior.
• A Fractured Family: Jo’s arrival is far from a happy family reunion. The Langham/Miller family is dealing with significant trauma and secrets. There’s a major mystery surrounding the death of Jo and Lacey’s mother in a car accident, and Lacey blames Jo for it, leading to immense tension and hostility between the sisters.
• A Dramatic Debut: Jo’s debut will be dramatic. Promos show her involved in a car crash, unconscious, before waking up to a horrific situation. The voiceover teases: “It’s the secret that tore two sisters apart.”
• Clashes and Confrontations: Expect immediate clashes between Jo and Lacey. Lacey believes Jo should “suffer” for what happened to their mother, and a promo even shows Lacey punching Jo! Sergeant David Langham will be desperately trying to mend his fractured family.
