Cash to face tough questions as familiar face returns

Cash Newman will face some tough questions on UK screens next week as a familiar face returns to Summer Bay. Recently, Cash struck a dangerous deal with Nerida Mullins in a desperate attempt to keep his ex-fiancée, Eden Fowler, safe after discovering that Nerida was responsible for putting Tim Russell in the hospital.

When Nerida threatened Eden, Cash met with her and falsely claimed to have CCTV evidence proving her guilt. He demanded that Nerida leave both Eden and Tim alone, and in exchange, Cash would take the fall for Tim’s attack. However, the situation is far from simple, and Cash will soon find himself under suspicion from those closest to him.

In scenes set to air next week, Cash’s foster father, Gary Morrow, returns to Summer Bay and is waiting for Cash when he arrives home. Although Cash insists that everything is fine, Gary doesn’t believe him and criticizes him for not keeping his promise to reach out if he was in trouble. Gary begins questioning Cash, asking why he isn’t standing up for himself. It quickly becomes clear that Cash has given up and no longer has the strength to fight back.
