Casualty featured a dramatic stand off in the latest episode which saw two of the paramedics lives in danger.
Casualty paramedics Iain Dean (Michael Stevenson) and Teddy Gowan (Milo Clarke) stared death in the face during a call-out in the latest instalment of the long-running BBC medical drama and fans had a lot to say about it.
The NHS paramedics found themselves called to a remote farmhouse and when they entered, a woman called Morgan had an arrow protruding from her having been attacked with a crossbow.
Worryingly for the pair, she told them that her ex was responsible and was still in the area as he was waiting on her new boyfriend Tyler. She told them he had recently been released from jail and was very dangerous.
However, Teddy seemed oblivious to her warning. Full of bravado he stepped outside the house to go back to the ambulance despite Iain’s protestations.
Almost as soon as he was outdoors, an arrow shot by him narrowly missing him which forced him back into the property. The situation was eventually resolved and they got her to Holby where they were greeted like heroes although both made light of just how dangerous the situation had been. Meanwhile, Faith Cadogan (Kirsty Mitchell) was visibly concerned for Iain’s safety when she heard what had happened.
When Morgan’s boyfriend Tyler arrived at the ED, he seemed to be blaming her for the situation and Teddy got into an altercation with him when he became aggressive towards her. With his anger issues still rife, he punched him and then realised the huge repercussions of his actions.

Fans couldn’t believe Teddy was going through more distress and took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their feelings.
One said: “That’s your registration gone Teddy…. bye-bye.”
Another aired their concern: “What have you done, Teddy.”
“I feel bad for Teddy. It’s not been his year, has it,” a third shared while someone else added: “Teddy’s career is on the line.”
A fifth went on to say: “I’m glad Teddy has told Jodie the truth of what happened in the back of the ambulance.”

Despite the traumatic shift, it appeared that some good had come out of it, as Teddy finally opened up to Jodi Whyte (Anna Chell) about being sexually assaulted.
Elsewhere in the episode, Nicole Piper (Sammy T Dobson) received devastating news when she learned the baby she was carrying for her friend had Down Syndrome.
Faith was told she could prescribe drugs again but it was clear Patrick Onley (Jamie Glover) didn’t trust her and she later found herself accused of stealing drugs.
She was later cleared when Cam Micklethwaite (Barney Walsh) realised he had made a mistake and her day got even better when she and Iain reconciled.
