Casualty is moving around — here’s everything you need to know as BBC’s medical drama changes channels for multiple Summer events…
Casualty is known to skip around the BBC1 schedules to make way for other programs and events, and fans have been worried that with live coverage of UEFA Men’s Euro 2024, Glastonbury 2024, Wimbledon 2024, and the Paris Olympics 2024, their favorite drama may be kicked down the road until a later date.
We can reveal that the series isn’t going on an extended sabbatical for the Summer schedules, but there are some changes. Some Saturdays the show is switching from BBC1 to BBC2 and on others it won’t be airing.
But you need never miss an episode of Casualty with this handy guide to all the medical drama episodes airing over the coming months.

When and where can I watch Casualty over the Summer months?
With the opening episode of Storm Damage kicking off on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 8.20pm on BBC2, just as the Euros got underway, Casualty made the move to BBC2. Yet, it didn’t stay there for long.

What to expect in Storm Damage — warning spoilers
* In Casualty’s new 12-part box set, nurse Cam Mickelwaith (Barney Walsh) is floored by the most traumatic shift in his career to date. This is quickly followed by a blast from the past which leaves him reeling… Who is Jamie Cleveland (played by Emmerdale star Ryan Hawley) and what does he want?
* Perennial bachelor, paramedic Iain Dean (Michael Stevenson) starts enjoying a cosy home life with nurse Faith Cadogan and her clan, until their happiness is threatened!
* Consultant Stevie Nash (Elinor Lawless) catches the eye of firefighter Rich (Michael Keogh, Peaky Blinders, Emmerdale). Is he the one – or one to avoid?
* Consultant Dylan Keogh (William Beck) gets hot under the collar, when Psych Liaison Nurse, Sophia, (Kellie Shirley, In the Long Run, EastEnders) becomes a regular face on the wards.
* Paramedic Jacob Masters (Charles Venn) ups the ante to find his missing son, Blake.
* Junior doctor Tariq Hussein (Manpreet Bachu) struggles to support his cousin, doctor Rash Masum (Neet Mohan).

As a storm threatens Holby City, a tragedy forces recently promoted Band 5 nurse, Cam Mickelwaithe (Barney Walsh) to make a tough decision. Elsewhere, Stevie Nash (Elinor Lawless) makes an unexpected connection, while junior doctor Tariq Hussein (Manpreet Bachu) is determined to help his vulnerable cousin Rash Masum (Neet Mohan).

Storm Damage episode 2 of 12
Casualty is back at its traditional home on BBC1 for this episode, where the red weather warning continues unabated, leaving Holby is at the mercy of disastrous flooding and ruthless looters. Paramedic Iain Dean decides to pull a double shift – against the advice of his concerned partner, nurse Faith Cadogan- in order to support a nervous Teddy Gowan on his first day back at work. But when an exhausted Iain risks life and limb to rescue a man trapped in a submerged car, will he get out alive? Elsewhere, Siobhan struggles to keep the understaffed ED afloat, while Dylan Keogh’s flustered by feisty psych nurse Sophia Peters!

Paramedic Jacob Masters’ fears for his son Blake and grandson Carter intensify after shock news. And the Stevie-Rich-Siobhan affair triangle heats up significantly!

With troubled Bobby insisting they were both groomed and assaulted by Jamie, Cam breaks down and resigns – causing his boss, Siobhan to question why…

It’s back to BBC Two for Casualty as the Paris Olympics 2024 get underway. In the aptly names Duped, doctor Stevie Nash plays a dangerous game.
After another night of passion with married fireman Rich Walker, loved up Stevie is blown away when he promises to tell his wife about their affair and ask for a divorce. She heads to work on cloud nine — until clinical lead Siobhan shows her a photo and Stevie realises Rich is married to her boss!
Elsewhere, heavily pregnant junior doctor Nicole makes a life-changing decision about her surrogacy and paramedic Iain’s hair-trigger temper causes problems at home!

Here, Dylan Keogh faces the day from hell – Dervla’s cancer has spread and it’s time to say his final goodbyes to his beloved pet and companion. In shock, he goes to work, where psych nurse Sophia Peters mistakes his distraction for negligence and considers reporting him to Siobhan McKenzie! In a moment of deep grief, will he reach for the bottle to down his sorrows? Elsewhere, Stevie Nash’s tempted to reconnect with her affair partner Rich Walker, Siobhan makes a powerful enemy, and Faith Cadogan considers a career change… Is she quitting Holby?

In this episode a desperate Jacob Masters faces another dead end in his search for Blake Gardner. He comes within a hair’s whisper of finding him and, excitingly, Supacell actor David Ajayi makes his debut as the paramedic’s troubled son.
