Home and Away star Stephanie Panozzo opened up on Wednesday about the ‘heartbreaking’ series finale of the long-running soap opera.

The actress, 34, said the final episode of 2023, in which her character Eden got kidnapped while on a camping trip, will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.

‘What am I hoping people will take away from the finale? It’s gripping, amazing, heartbreaking, intense and epic,’ she told 7Life.

‘I am so excited for fans to see it and cannot wait until they’re tuned in next year, because next year is so exciting.’

The nail biting episode, which aired on Wednesday evening, ended on a cliffhanger with Eden kidnapped by a criminal gang and the rescue efforts trying in vain to locate her.
