Nicole’s surrogacy secret is revealed

Dylan is having a tough time mentoring Nicole. He gets annoyed when she doesn’t catch on as quickly as he’d like.

As the day goes by, Nicole starts to realize that Dylan’s got some deeper issues going on, likely from the Sam Williams case.

When Nicole turns down Dylan’s offers for a drink, he’s persistent. But then she drops the bomb that she can’t have caffeine because she’s pregnant, acting as a surrogate. Dylan’s surprised but pledges to support her.

Seaside drama

Jacob and Jan rush to the seaside where they find a woman in distress after falling off a rock.

She tells them her child is in the water.

Thinking quickly, Jacob calls for help, but they soon realise the woman is talking about her child who went missing 19 years ago.

Rash’s wrath

Rash reluctantly starts his therapy session with Uma, but isn’t really feeling it.

He starts complaining about Tariq and their living situation, but Uma suggests he might be making it all about himself.

Tensions rise when Tariq brings a pregnant woman who fell ill on a bus to the hospital.

Tariq doesn’t handle it too well, and Rash finally blows up, telling him he’s no hero and not even a great doctor.

Dylan quits

Dylan’s confidence takes a major hit as he attends a meeting regarding Sam Williams’ death.

Things get even more difficult for Dylan when Patrick interrupts and brings up Samantha, a patient whose condition has worsened suddenly.

Patrick also suggests Dylan should consider getting an assessment for autism.

Another string of unfortunate events pushes Dylan to his breaking point.

Unable to handle it anymore, he bursts into Patrick’s office and declares that he’s quitting. Is this the end of Dylan’s journey?
