Home and Away announces huge storylines for Australian season finale

Home and Away spoilers follow from Australian-pace episodes, which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.

Home and Away has announced details of some major storylines coming up in the soap’s season finale, as two big plots reach a turning point.

The dramatic feature-length finale scenes, which will air in Australia next week and in March on Channel 5 in the UK, will see at least one character “left with blood on their hands”.

TV Week reports that the finale will see Lyrik members Remi Carter, Eden Fowler, Kirby Aramoana and Theo Poulos heading to a luxury estate to rehearse, with Justin Morgan, Bree Cameron and Eden’s new boyfriend Tim in tow.

While Eden and Tim’s relationship appears to be going well, Eden’s ex-fiancé Cash Newman is continuing to stalk Tim, adamant that there is something dodgy about him.

Despite already getting into trouble for abusing his position as a police officer to try to dig up dirt on Tim, Cash is determined to keep looking into him until he finds proof that Eden shouldn’t be with him.

Although Cash appears to be driving a bigger wedge between himself and Eden, it isn’t long before some concerning figures from Tim’s past start to show themselves.

As Cash’s investigation leads him to a confrontation with Tim, Justin and Remi are on hand to witness the dangerous moment. But could Cash or Tim live to regret their stand-off?

Elsewhere, there’s also danger for pregnant Harper Matheson when she experiences worrying abdominal pains and is rushed to hospital.

After performing a scan, Levi Fowler breaks the news to Harper that her baby has a cyst on their lungs. With the cyst putting pressure on their organs, there is a risk that it could cause foetal heart failure.

Harper is soon told that she can have an in-utero surgery to fix the problem, but it comes with a big risk – she may go into early labour if she has the operation.

While the baby’s father Tane Parata and Harper’s sister Dana Matheson try to help Harper go over the facts, she declares that she’s already made her decision – she isn’t going to put her baby in danger if she doesn’t have to.

Will Tane and Dana persuade Harper to have the surgery? Or will her decision result in tragic consequences for her baby or herself?
