Home and Away attack mystery unfolds as Cash finds blood on his hands

Home and Away‘s Cash Newman stands accused of a shocking crime on UK screens next week.

The Summer Bay policeman comes under suspicion after his love rival Tim Russell is attacked in strange circumstances.

Viewers have seen Cash make Tim’s life a misery over the past few weeks, unable to accept his ex-fiancée Eden Fowler’s decision to start a relationship with the counsellor.

Cash’s erratic behaviour has alienated his friends in the Bay, but in a classic case of “boy who cried wolf”, they’re about to disengage from him just when they should be listening.

Upcoming episodes on Channel 5 see Cash realise that he’s made a terrible mistake by trusting Nerida Mullins, the ex-client of Tim who has made damning accusations against him.

The drama plays out when Abigail Fowler quizzes Nerida over her claims that Tim pursued a relationship with her when he was working as her counsellor.

Abigail asks Nerida whether it’s really true and she’s unconvinced by her response. Afterwards, Abigail goes to Cash and shares her new theory that Nerida has made the whole thing up.

When Cash speaks to Nerida himself, he’s alarmed as she makes a frightening threat against Eden. Her true colours have finally been exposed, but Cash struggles to do anything about it.

As Cash tries to raise the alarm, Eden and Tim refuse to listen to him as they’re annoyed by his constant meddling in their relationship.

Eden then joins her Lyrik bandmates at a remote retreat, which Remi Carter has hired to give them space to rehearse. Tim, Justin Morgan and Bree Cameron are all invited along on the trip.

While the gang are away, Cash discovers that someone has vandalised Tim’s car and trashed Eden’s home. Refusing to stand by and do nothing, he follows Eden to the retreat to warn her that she’s no longer safe.

Once Cash arrives, he comes face-to-face with Tim first and a heated showdown follows between the two men.

Cash desperately tries to warn Tim, who’s fed up with his antics and reacts badly to his wild claims about Nerida.

The next morning, Cash is confused as he wakes up with blood on his hands and Tim’s lifeless body nearby. It appears that someone has attacked Tim and left him for dead.

Justin stumbles across the alarming scene and immediately assumes that Cash has attacked Tim after their weeks of rows. Will Cash be arrested?

Home and Away airs these scenes on Friday, March 7 on Channel 5. This episode served as the 2024 season finale episode for Australian viewers last November, but the action will continue on UK screens without a break.
