In a recent interview with Check It TV, Evans opened up about his ambitions beyond Summer Bay, revealing that he has an agent in Los Angeles and is eager to explore acting roles in Hollywood. “You can clip this if you want, but I won’t be on Home and Away forever,” he admitted. While he clarified that he’s not planning an immediate exit, he acknowledged that now feels like the right time to take a leap. “I have plans for America and stuff like that as well,” he added.

When asked about his dream roles, Evans shared his love for romantic comedies, revealing that Ryan Gosling is his favorite actor. “I love romcoms—I’d love to be in something like that. I don’t really see myself as an action hero, but who knows?” he joked. The star also reflected on his passion for music, admitting that while he once considered leaving acting to focus solely on music, his love for acting has grown stronger.

Despite his aspirations to move on, Evans expressed his admiration for Home and Away, calling it a “great platform” that should continue as long as fans love it. He also weighed in on Neighbours’ recent cancellation struggles, noting the differences between the two shows and hoping that Home and Away remains strong.
