The cast of Home and Away have paid tribute to their canine co-star Buddy, following the sad news of his death.

Buddy, the bobtail boxer, first arrived in Summer Bay in 2016 as a part of the Morgan family.

On Sunday (25 May), Buddy’s owner Shelley shared the tragic news of his death on Instagram, alongside a sweet photo of her loyal pet. She reflected on the time they spent together, including his appearance on the Australian soap.

“I have lost my Buddy,” she explained in the caption. “We did so many fun things together over the years. His time on @homeandaway was definitely the highlight for him and me. He loved going more than anything.
