Home and Away: Eden and Cash’s love story takes a new turn

Home and Away‘s Eden Fowler and Cash Newman take a major step next week, as their long-running romance turns another corner.
In scenes that will air in the UK next week, Eden and her sister Abigail are put through a terrifying kidnap ordeal by dangerous newcomer Nerida Mullins, whose ongoing obsession with her former counsellor Tim Russell has led to her getting violent with anyone close to him.
Nerida’s delusions will lead to her putting Eden in terrible danger as she threatens to inject her with a potentially fatal dose of ketamine, while Cash desperately tries to save his former fiancée.

Following these dramatic scenes, Eden is rushed to hospital, with her best friend Remi Carter at her side. When worried Cash shows up to check on Eden, Remi is quick to send him away, reminding Cash of how much hurt he’s caused Eden since their split.
Resigned Cash agrees to go and, when Eden asks to see him, Remi claims that he has no idea where Cash could be.
When Remi takes Eden home, he seizes the opportunity to warn her off getting involved with Cash again. Eden then admits to her friend that she and Cash kissed again recently and it doesn’t take Remi long to work out exactly when this happened – when her most recent boyfriend, Tim, was in a coma after being attacked by Nerida.

The friends soon get into a row about the situation, with Eden suddenly realising that it was Remi who put Cash off from visiting her. But it isn’t long before Cash shows up again with some food, leading Remi to storm off as he feels powerless to protect Eden’s feelings.
As they spend time together, Cash catches Eden up on the case against Nerida following her multiple crimes. He also admits that Tim has given him some advice – that he can’t waste his second chance with Eden.
With the pair opening up about their feelings, Cash confirms that he feels fully responsible for their relationship ending last year, after he broke off their engagement following his sister Felicity’s sudden death.

Eden admits that she’s worried she’ll say the wrong thing to Cash, in case he decides to end their relationship again. The pair both agree that they need to be certain that they want to try again before taking any more steps, as they can’t handle another break-up.
It seems that Eden is quick to make up her mind about what to do, as she later shows up on Cash’s doorstep with a big admission. After confirming that she couldn’t take it if they split again, she says that they just need to get things right this time.
