Theo makes a full confession to Rose over how he hid Perri in the garage. Although Leah and Justin are furious with Theo for breaking the law, their anger quickly turns to compassion and concern. They’re particularly frustrated that Theo didn’t turn to them for help.

Theo points out that Leah and Justin have been too distracted over their own issues surrounding Claudia. There’s relief all round when Rose confirms that Theo is free to go.

Meanwhile, it’s the morning of Perri’s bail hearing and he’s starting to lose motivation to fight against the charges. Tane gives Perri a pep talk, admitting that he experienced similar emotions during his own recent legal case. He explains that he ultimately realised he had good people around him, especially Harper.

Elsewhere, Cash signs the paperwork to transfer ownership of Salt to Mackenzie. Although it’s difficult for Cash to let go, he knows that he’s doing the right thing.
