Home and Away‘s Harper Matheson faces yet more heartbreak next week as Tane Parata harshly cuts himself off from their wedding plans.
As Harper finally gets excited about planning the ceremony of her dreams, she’s left upset as Tane seems reluctant to be part of the journey with her.
Viewers have recently seen Harper and Tane agree on a “no-fuss” wedding, so they can tie the knot before their baby arrives.
Harper has let Tane believe that she’s on board with his simple plans, but her sister Dana knows that she’s holding back from voicing how she really feels.

Feeling tipsy after an evening of drinking with Remi Carter, no-nonsense Dana doesn’t hold back as she warns Tane that Harper is lying to him about what she really wants.
Dana’s bold intervention forces Harper to finally take the honest approach with Tane. Harper admits that she’s always wanted a fairytale wedding, so would like their big day to be something more special.
Although dismayed that Harper wasn’t upfront with him sooner, Tane confirms that he’s happy to change course and give her everything she wants.

Later in the week, Harper meets up with John Palmer for a chat about the revamped wedding plans.
John reveals that he’s found a perfect spot on the beach for the couple’s nuptials, but Tane fails to show up for the important conversation. When Harper later asks what Tane thinks, he seems totally indifferent.
As discussions with John continue, Tane defers to Harper for every decision and seems to have no real enthusiasm over how their big day should go.

Harper ultimately reaches breaking point as she questions Tane’s commitment to the wedding and whether he cares about her at all.
Opening up to Dana, a devastated Harper notes that Tane still can’t even say that he loves her. Is this wedding heading for disaster?
