Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart, stars of Home and Away, have put recent break-up rumors to rest with a heartwarming Instagram post featuring highlights from their New Year’s vacation on the Gold Coast.

The couple shared a carousel of intimate photos from the trip, which they enjoyed as a blended family with Nicodemou’s son, Johnas, and Stewart’s daughter, Scout, both 12.

“Our week spent in paradise… 3 theme parks in 3 days, go karting, JetSki’s, bowling, swimming, singing and lots of laughs and love ❤️… bring on 2025!!!” Nicodemou captioned the post.

The photos showcased the family’s close bond, with Nicodemou cuddling Scout, whose mother is actress Jessica Marais, and Stewart bonding with Johnas, whom Nicodemou shares with ex-husband Chrys Xipolitas. The family visited popular Gold Coast attractions like Wet’n’Wild, Movie World, and Sea World, dined at Broadbeach, and were joined by Stewart’s twin brother, Nick, and his family.

The vacation follows rumors of a potential split, which began when Nicodemou revealed they would be spending Christmas apart. In an interview with TV Week in early December, she expressed excitement about their first Christmas as a couple but mentioned differing family plans.

“James is going to be in Queensland, as his family are all up there, and I’ll be in Sydney with mine. But that’s okay – we see each other all the time,” she said. Stewart added, “Ada and I are so family-oriented… She has this amazing Cypriot family, and my family are up in Queensland. You know, I miss Mum.”

Fans speculated about trouble in paradise, but photos shared by Stewart’s brother, Nick, during the festive season showed the couple together in Queensland. One fan even reported spotting the pair looking happy on a Gold Coast beach.

“Ada and James look very in love and happy,” commented a fan on a popular Home and Away Facebook group. Another added, “Happy families… James and Ada are very much in love.”

The couple, who portray husband and wife Leah Patterson and Justin Morgan on Home and Away, first sparked romance rumors in May last year following Nicodemou’s split from Adam Rigby, her partner of eight years. Stewart finalized his divorce from former Home and Away co-star Sarah Roberts last March after five years of marriage.

By July, Nicodemou confirmed the relationship in an interview with Stellar magazine. “Jimmy and I are together, yes,” she said. “At 47, you know what you want and what you don’t. It’s only early days. It’s very recent and very unexpected. I’m super happy. It’s really lovely.”
