Home and Away Stars Pay Tribute to Colleague After Cancer Battle: ‘Truly One of the Best

Home and Away stars and colleagues have come together to pay tribute to their friend and coworker, Bruce Murray, who sadly passed away after battling stage four oesophageal cancer. Bruce’s diagnosis became public last year when a GoFundMe page was created to support him. It was revealed that the cancer had spread into his bloodstream, leading to multiple tumors on his bones, including his ribs, spine, collarbone, sacrum, and hips.

Both former and current Home and Away stars rallied behind Bruce, with Ada Nicodemou, Matt Little, Georgie Parker, Jessica Tovey, Stephanie Panozzo, Pia Miller, Ethan Browne, Axle Whitehead, and Philippa Northeast, among others, contributing to the fundraiser. Along with donations from producers, staff, and anonymous supporters, the GoFundMe raised $51,000 for his treatment.
