Home and Away’s Cash Newman to turn nasty in Eden story

Home and Away‘s Cash Newman turns creepy on UK screens next week as he refuses to let Eden Fowler move on with her new boyfriend.

Cash is outraged when he finds out that Eden has started dating Summer Bay newcomer Tim Russell.

Eden and Tim have been seeing each other in secret. They decided to keep things low-key as Tim had recently been hired as a counsellor for Eden’s troubled younger sister Abigail.

Next week’s Channel 5 episodes see Cash ask Eden if they can finally work through their awkwardness, which has never been resolved since their split last year.

Eden immediately refuses, making it very clear that she’s not interested in being friends with Cash after he dumped her so abruptly.

Mackenzie Booth loyally backs Eden’s stance on this, telling Cash that he has no right to ask for his ex-fiancé’s friendship after the way he’s treated her.

Not giving up, Cash heads to Eden’s house with some beers in the hope of spending time together. He’s left upset when he spots her kissing Tim in the backyard.

Later, Eden’s friend Kirby Aramoana gets dragged into the drama when Cash awkwardly questions her about Tim’s intentions with Eden.

This leads to Cash finding out that Tim was Abigail’s counsellor and he questions what kind of person would pursue their client’s sister like this.

The following day, Cash crosses a line while in police uniform as he abuses his position to deliberately pull Tim’s car over while Eden is inside with him.

Eden fiercely accuses Cash of unprofessional behaviour and harassment, then fills in Tim about how this meddling policeman is her ex.

Once back at the station, Cash goes further and Rose Delaney catches him using the police database to look up Tim’s history.

Rose reprimands Cash for breaking the rules and sends him home for the day, but Cash still refuses to accept that he’s done anything wrong. Is he becoming obsessed with Eden’s new romance?

Home and Away airs these scenes on Wednesday, February 12 and Thursday, February 13 on Channel 5.
