Home and Away‘s Cash Newman will face some tough questions on UK screens next week as a familiar face returns.

Cash recently struck a deal with dangerous Nerida Mullins in a desperate bid to keep his ex-fiancée Eden Fowler safe, after he realised that Nerida was responsible for putting Tim Russell in hospital.

When Nerida threatened Eden, Cash met up with her and her falsely claimed to have CCTV evidence proving her guilt.

He then demanded that Nerida leave both Eden and Tim alone, and in return he’d take the fall for Tim’s attack.

In scenes set to air in the UK next week, Cash’s foster father Gary Morrow returns to Summer Bay and is waiting for Cash when he arrives home.

Although Cash insists that he’s okay, Gary doesn’t believe him and criticises him for not keeping his promise that he’d reach out if he was in trouble.

He questions Cash and asks him why he isn’t standing up for himself, but it’s clear that Cash has given up.

When Gary realises that Cash has been running his own investigation, he grows suspicious and goes to Eden for some more answers.

However, it’s Abigail who explains the situation to Gary, who now knows that Cash has tried to cover up the truth.

Not prepared to give up on Cash, Gary visits Rose and they form a plan to clear Cash’s name.
