Home and Away’s Eliza sparks huge danger for Harper in dramatic labour scenes

Home and Away‘s Eliza Sherwood makes her creepiest move yet next week – failing to call for help as Harper Matheson endures agonising labour pains.

The troubled teen’s obsession with Harper and her unborn baby comes to a head after they take a trip into the bush together.

Harper defies warnings from Tane Parata and Marilyn Chambers by taking a walk with Eliza in a remote location.

During the journey, Harper goes into labour and urges Eliza to call for an ambulance.

Eliza – who’s fascinated by medical matters – clearly has other ideas as she spots her chance to watch the labour unfold uninterrupted.

“Harper is fooled as Eliza fakes a call to the emergency services,” our Home and Away source explains.

“Reassured that the ambulance will be there soon, Harper battles through agonising contractions with nothing to help the pain.”

When Harper later starts to question the delay with the ambulance, she notices missed calls from Tane on her phone.

Harper calls Tane back and explains that she’s in labour. Tane rushes to the scene with local doctor Levi Fowler, who’s eager to help.

“Everyone still assumes that an ambulance is on the way – which Eliza fails to correct,” our insider adds.

“As Harper is fully dilated, Levi insists that she’ll have to give birth naturally now, rather than at the hospital. It’s very worrying news for Harper, as she’d been told that a natural birth would be risky after her baby’s previous medical issues.”

Levi steps in to deliver the baby, while an ambulance is finally brought to the scene thanks to a call to emergency services – this time a genuine one.

Eliza’s strange behaviour continues as she secretly records the whole thing on her phone, wanting to watch it back later.

Once Harper and the newborn baby are admitted to hospital, there are further complications. Will anyone find out that Eliza caused the delay with the ambulance?
