Home and Away’s Harper faces major baby row with Tane

Harper Matheson and fiancé Tane Parata will have a huge row on Home and Away as the couple debate what’s best for their baby.

The couple have had a rocky few weeks recently, with their wedding plans being dictated by the impending arrival of their baby. Wanting to tie the knot before Harper gave birth, the pair initially opted for a low-key affair on their big day.

This contradicted Harper’s initial plans for the wedding day, with sister Dana worrying that she had quelled her own desires in order to appease Tane. As tensions came to the surface, Harper was left devastated after Tane failed to reassure her ahead of the big day.

With the couple’s relationship on the rocks, this week’s scenes saw Tane admit to Cash that he wasn’t in love with Harper, though he did confess that he could see more romantic feelings develop over time.

In scenes set to air on Friday (18 April), Harper and Tane will meet to discuss her working arrangements, which will involve driving to and from the city. With the baby’s delivery date set for the coming weeks, Tane isn’t best pleased.

He cites his concern for the safety of Harper and the baby, with her recent surgery also being brought up as a potential worry. He later visits Levi for some medical advice, with the doctor sharing that Harper is now cleared to drive.

Nonetheless, Tane asks for Levi’s help in outlining some of the concerns to Harper as they meet again, though she is adamant that she can balance both her personal and professional lives as she emphasises the importance of her career.

The pair do eventually come to an arrangement, which will see Harper stay in the city so she’s able to have her regular check-ups with the doctor. With the couple seemingly reaching a compromise, will they be able to plan securely for the future?…
