He’s called to a scene involving a homeless woman named Samantha and her young son, Cohen (played by Nathan Murray), who have been sleeping rough.
During the investigation, police discover a box of stolen mobile phones in Samantha’s car, forcing David to make a tough call. He has no choice but to arrest Samantha, leaving Cohen distressed, alone, and facing the prospect of being separated from his only parent.
