Casualty fans are in for a treat on Saturday with a horror first shift, a shock funeral invite and a mother-son argument among the key plotlines.
The latest instalment, titled Bite The Bullet, airs on January 11 and is part of the current boxset Public Property.
Last week’s episode was called On Trial and saw a tragic death bring Dylan Keogh (William Beck) and Jodie Whyte (Anna Chell) together, and Rash Masum (Neet Mohan) attempt to hide a secret from Tariq Hussein (Manpreet Bachu).
The show takes another dramatic turn in the next instalment – the third of the 39th season.

She joins experienced duo Iain Dean (Michael Stevenson) and Teddy Gowan (Milo Clarke) responding to a drive-by shooting and impresses them by moving an unattended van blocking traffic and then fooling injured gunman Jas Radcliffe (Immanuel Yeboah) into giving up his firearm.
The dramatic shift takes another turn when Indie discovers another victim, a 10-year-old boy, but will she be able to think on her feet once again?
Luka hurts Faith
