It’s one of the long-standing, popular British TV shows, and Casualty
will be adorning the screens with yet another Christmas special this year –
except this time, it’s a bit different. Breaking out of the more familiar storytelling
approach, this episode will be interspersed with real life segments, all for a very good cause, of course – with the importance of donating blood the prevalent theme.
To mark the episode, which airs on BBC One on Saturday 21st December, we had the pleasure in speaking to some of the cast-members, some old, some new(er) – to discuss the episode, and just Casualty generally, and what has given it such popularity over the years, but also a significance in modern entertainment, with a nod to highlighting the incredible work of the NHS.
Below you can find our very fun interview with the brilliant Charles Venn (Jacob) and Elinor Lawless (Stevie), before we speak to Barney Walsh (Cameron), Michael Stevenson (Iain) & Melanie Hill (Siobhan) – and both interviews can be watched in their entirety.
